The engagement shoot of

Jo and Mark decided to have their shoot in Battersea Park on a glorious summer’s evening in London. Although they were getting married at South Farm (my favourite venue, btw), they hopped on the train and made a day of it in the capital. I decided to leave my big Canon DSLR and lenses at home and chose instead to shoot the couple with my Sony A7 MKII and a couple of Sony prime lenses – the whole kit was so light it was liberating, especially on a hot evening! It also looks a lot less conspicuous when travelling around.

We had a good laugh, especially when I began to set up a shot with the couple around the impressive fountains within the park. All was looking great, only for the fountain to be switched off just at the moment I hit my shutter button! D’oh!

Jo and Mark’s South Farm wedding will appear here soon – keep your eyes peeled for that because it was a wonderful day!
